Dry Creek Disc Golf Course Expansion

Dry Creek Disc Golf Course Expansion | Hayden, Colorado

The Yampa Valley Disc Golf Club proudly completed a major expansion of the Dry Creek Disc Golf Course in Hayden, Colorado, transforming the existing course into a 36-hole disc golf destination and one of the largest courses in Northwest Colorado.

This project involved designing and installing new holes, creating alternate basket locations, clearing and improving fairways, and developing new course layouts to provide a more challenging and enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels.

Through countless volunteer hours, donated equipment, and collaboration with Moffat County, Routt County, and the Town of Hayden, the club was able to complete the expansion at no cost to local taxpayers.

The expanded course officially debuted during the 2026 Northwest Colorado Disc Golf Classic, which brought players together for two days of competition in Craig and Hayden. The weekend also featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the new course.

This project represents the Yampa Valley Disc Golf Club's ongoing commitment to growing the sport, improving public recreation opportunities, and creating lasting disc golf destinations throughout Northwest Colorado.
