Two Towns. Two Courses. One Legendary Weekend.

The Northwest Colorado Disc Golf Classic is the region’s newest tradition, built from pure community grit, wide-open skies, and the simple joy of watching plastic fly. Hosted across Craig’s Loudy-Simpson Park and Hayden’s Dry Creek Park, this two-day tournament brings together players from across the Rockies for one unforgettable weekend of disc slinging, friendly rivalry, and hometown pride.

A Weekend Built for Players

This year’s Classic launched with a weather twist, but like any good Colorado crew, players shrugged off the drizzle and we rallied with a shifted start. Tee times rolled out all afternoon, each group sending drives down freshly flagged fairways on a temporary 18-hole layout designed specifically for the event.

In Craig, players shredded a brand-new temporary course built in partnership with Moffat County Parks & Recreation. Volunteers hauled baskets, carved lines, and transformed open space into a championship-level track. On Sunday, the action moved to Hayden, where the rolling terrain of Dry Creek Park offered long bombs, technical approaches, and big-view scenery.

Across the weekend, players enjoyed:

  • On-site lunch and check-in zone

  • HQ tents with leaderboards

  • Prizes for Closest to the Pin,  Long Drive Contest and Ace Pot!

  •  Beverage Cart

  • Community vendors, families, and fans cheering from the sidelines

A massive thank-you goes to Moffat County for allowing us to build the Craig temporary course to help push forward the long-term vision of expanding and upgrading the Loudy-Simpson Park Disc Golf Course. Players are encouraged to send feedback to help evolve this layout into a permanent, world-class course.
